Midweek catch up...

The weather had turned a bit cooler this week, but it`s been the brutal westerly winds that is hard going for commuting daily,
Friend Craig also mentioned his westerly commute home being energy sapping the other evening,
I rode the Dawes Galaxy into work on Monday, the Pashley on Tuesday, and the 29+ Surly KramPug today to ride some trails home - high tide is afternoon this week and so i arrived today after a battle into and side on to a westerly gale,
Turbines were spinning away happy!...

While dry the sky was overcast and moody looking...

Another day and more variety in jobs with the Willow animals made by a local artist to put out in preparation for Easter Weekend...

Buck and Doe Roe Deer...

Lunchtime and the sky starting to clear...

Hares boxing...

Beetles...

Owls...

Also Butterflies and Ladybirds still to go up...

All go and the day flew in before i flew down the road with that tail wind!, and some nice evening light and big sky views as i headed inland towards home...

Although only a 6 mile commute i have so many options of routes now to ride to work, direct and with longer detours both on roads and off road on trails and field boundaries...
Many of the field boundary trails i ride i never see any other tyre tracks on...

Nice getting away from the motorised commuters...

Stopped off at a favourite view point across from Fenton Tower...

Nearing home and fields recently raised for potato planting starting to blow in the gale...

Soon be home, be another day tomorrow commuting on the Surly KramPug 29+, and another off road option home...

More soon..
