Cycle out to Crammond Island...
Crammond Island is one of 43 tidal islands accessable at low tides from mainland Britain, a causeway with a wartime anti boat barrier are quickly crossed if cycling giving plenty time to ecplore the Wartime defences between incoming tides...
Dave and i cycled over the islands hill to reach the first of two generator rooms which would have powered the defences built to protect Rosyth Naval Docks from Axis torpeado and U Boat attacks..
Inchmickery Island offshore i would love to visit and explore it`s many Military building
Being midweek we had the place to ourselves, i imagine it`s busy here out here in summer...
