Midweek cycle; Tyne Estuary at Low tide...

 

A grey morning, well it is November!, rain is often the order of the day in November, even in East Lothian, often the driest County in Scotland with the most sunshine...

Out at the Tyne Estuary point and with a lot of soft sand being moved again hopefully we would be able to ride right around the point alongside the Estuary...

It was real soft but we managed, here the 4.8" tyres on 100mm wide rims set to 4 psi come into their own world. It is amazing where you can get on these bikes when they are set up right...

Saturday, and a cycle out to the WW2 Sub Wrecks in Aberlady Bay with our friend Davie...

Pilgrimage done we headed east as the wind blew us along a quiet coastline past Gullane Bents, Freshwaterhaven, then Archerfield and down Broadsands...

Fat Club! another mid week cycle...

 

Another fine winters day to be off on holiday and today we had a fun couple of hours cycle, again at John Muir Park, though today were joined by G now on hols also, and with friends...

As the short film shows there is loads of cycling here around the park, on the sandy trails and low tide beaches...

Another fine morning to be out cycling early, G was on nightshift so I made myself scarce and got away down around John Muir Country Park and enjoyed a couple of hours soaking up the low winter sun and high pressure weather blue skies...
