The magical Cove harbour on the Berwickshire coast is always a lovely place to visit, on a stormy day when the North Sea is angry and you can hardly stay stood up in the howling onshore easterly winds, or a morning like today when I visited early just after 7am, it was easter Friday and I was out filming several other places for motorbike films and arriving early paid off as I had the place to myself...
G had a plan to do a loop of 4 Munro's from Glenshee in the Southern Cairngorms, so with friend Al up for some walking and driving we were up at 5am, picked up at 6am and 120 miles later after a couple of rolls at the cafe were on the hills and climbing up steeply for out first Munro and then it was a case of linking the other 3 before descending on what would be a long day!,
Pics are all by G, I was filming as usual with the Go Pro, each Munro as we walked picture are actually reversed on here but takes too long to swap all them around but the film will make sense of it...
The scenery was absolutely stunning, and I never imagined with my health diagnosis of MS I had over 6 years ago I would still be able to go do stuff like this, nevermind still ride my Fatbikes and motorbikes etc and so lucky to be still getting out living the dream!...
Going up in the mountains for the day puts everything into perspective and you realise how small we are and our lives are a mere blink in time... a fantastic day out!...
