Coast walk...
Was out a few walks last week for exercise and fresh air as going back to work next week, Weather had turned cooler all week and between really windy weather some clear nights and frosts,
One morning i went a walk along the local coast at Tyninghame just after sunrise...
Down the beach and along the top of the dunes to Peffersands...
No bike to ride down the dunes today, only 9am and the beach was empty, a stunning morning...
Long shadows...
On the most Northerly dune you can see what must have been a dump after WW2, Uncovered by the wind, full of rusted barb wire from the Coastal defences...
You don`t want to cycle around here...
No idea what this is, do you?...
A small pointed cast metal cap about 6" across, maybe a cover or cap for something...
Down onto the beach at low tide and into that lovely morning sun...
Wind blows around small shells, wood, and stones leaving them perched on small sand pillars...
No bike for a tyre track pic so you will have to settle for a footprint pic...
A shadow walker pic...
And a pedestrian action shot...
Down on a big empty beach at low tide, on a cold clear winter day, does not get much better, except of course if on a fat bike...
t
Sun reflecting off the wet sand like glass, and only the noise of the sea and wind, the tide now on the turn...
I messed up the light setting on the compact so there is no golden colour on a wee film wave watching, next visit to the coast will be on 2 wheels -:)
I always enjoy seeing the wild coastal shots on your blog...thsnks.

I enjoy your photos and vids as well. The Land meets the sea in such a beautiful way.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're out and about. I have a flag counter too, but it only shows 6 countries. How to show all?
ReplyDeleteHi, I am not sure what to do to show all countries visited, i seem to have a lot, maybe as the blog has been going nearly 4 years,
