Northumberland beach riding; 1/8...
Goswick sands...
With the end of August being cloudy and rain showers the main harvest here in East Lothian will be another week or two, so with a week off work on Furlough we headed down to Northumberland over a couple of days for some beach riding, a couple of days riding and 8 films and loads of pics for 8 days blog posts...
The dunes at Goswick are always good to cycle and back with two bikes rolling 5" tyres on 100mm rims (Surly Moonlander wheel sets) takes sand riding to as good as it gets - until we get a 6" tyres and Fatbikes!...
From the wide open beach we cycled back through the dunes at Goswick taking in the WW2 observation tower on top of the machine gun pill box, then the sandy single track, to finish off at the WW2 Scremerston Gun Battery...
