Moray Coast; WW2 Defences at Lossiemouth Forest...

Last day to explore before heading home and with the bridge closed allowing access across to the east beach we drove east to the next village at Kingston, and cycled along several miles of coastline following the longest unbroken line of WW2 defences I have seen on our coast here in Scotland...

Miles of anti tank blocks and machine gun pill boxes....

Look at the symmetry...

At Innes Wood are two Gun emplacements with Search lights, Generator rooms, forward and rear ammunition stores,  linked with trenches and accommodation  buildings inland...

What an ace we explore!...

Wee film of a fantastic area...
Song is `Cypress` by Tycho,

More soon..
