lighter nights
despite mid april its light to 8pm on a clear night so getting 3-4 hours riding twice through the week has been great, also mid week around tea time you meet no-one,in the last 2-3 days after the first rain for a few weeks the buds are in bloom on trees and plants flowering in the garden, birds are busy nest building, hares are boxing out in sow en fields which are quickly changing brown to green, grass is growing at work, were about to enter the `jungle warfare` period as greenkeepers refer to it!hopefully a dry early summer mid may-june should see grass growth at work peak and slow into july as normal, not what happened last year!,never have i looked forward to each season as much and the changes they bring,i feel very lucky to appreciate the seasons in east lothian when cycling
What time is "tea" time?
