midweek cycle

i cycled along to my parents last night for tea and met up with my brother down staying for 2 days while doing some work up in edinburgh,he was down on his singleseed road bike..

pearson are a british cycle shop that like edinburghs bicycle co-op has its own range the touche being there singlespeed, you can get a custom build to suit your needs and wallet, how all complete bicycles should be sold,i like the clean lines of the bike...

i was surprised that how much bigger the karate monkeys 29er wheels were than the 700cc wheels of the road bike, though i an running 2.2" tyres...

riding home i rode the first 4 miles offroad along the old railwayline walkway under a clear sky and 3/4 moon, the noise of arriving geese over head and a nip of cold in the air was really quite warming as i am one of few who actually look forward to winter cycling, esp this year now i have the pugsley, its fantastic cycling along quite country roads, the plough constellation up above, star gazing is a bit dangerous while cycling though......
