Mid Week beach ride
Not done many recent blog posts on the mid week rides.
Usually Tuesday evening is a `me time` ride and home from work at 3.30pm its a quick bite to eat and off out on the bike - usually the Pugsley.
Tuesday past i rode west from North Berwick along to Yellowcraig, overcast as it was i still took some pics...
Past the WW2 Coastal Defence Machine Gun Pill box to the east of the Eil Burn...
Achtung! es ist ein Surly Pugsley, Feuer!
Along the beach at Broadsands is an odd ridged dune appearing sloping up westwards and it is parallel to the coastline. Maybe it is some of the sand washed out by the recent stormy sea from the east end at the Eil Burn?...
Fidra Island from Yellow Craig...
Despite all the rain here over last weekend the trails are bone dry being a sandy loam...
Back to NB via the John Muir Way...
Cannot ride this bike enough, love it...
Down to the harbour, The Lobster Hatchery is opening again soon...
1st May and it felt like March, overcast and a damp cold wind, roll on warmer sunny weather!
Oh if you could be a weather prophet...
Do you remember this tune?
