Battle of Britain; The Real Story

A brilliant Documentary by James Holland of one of the darkest times of history here in on our little Island of the UK...

If you don`t fancy a night in front of the telly watching Easterners and all the other mainstream soaps and pre 9pm entertainment rubbish (BBC4 exempt),  then maybe  you would want to watch this fascinating documentary of a period of our history during dark times, and why we are still here in Great Britain today, And why today you have a choice to be a couch potato in front of your TV after a days work or not...

It is not just the story of a `few` who did an unbelievable thing against the odds stacked against them in the summer of 1940, but the contribution of a whole group of different organisations who despite their radar technology being in superior against an army that marched across Europe in 6 weeks...
It also tells the story of the German people, swept off their feet by a revolution...

This programme puts into prospective of how lucky we are to be here today and live the lives we do by what people did...
Something we should be proud of today and not take life for granted.  Life is for living and life is good...

Get out and enjoy yourselves, and give those war memorials a nod as you ride past...
