Friday; half day Klunker ride and peace and quiet `me time...`

Friday and home on the road bike. on my back is a waterproof back pack made by Scottish company LOMO i was given to use and review, which i will do in a another week once i do some off roading too with it. It is a superb bit of kit, more about it soon...

Home and a box left by the postie...  A present from good friend Gary Buckham...

How cool is that!, a Pugsley on Patrol mug!, thanks Gary!, will enjoy many a good cup of tea from it! -:) ...

Suns out and its warmed up so i headed down to North Berwick to see dad on the Klunker. Superb cheap fun to be had on this skip find i built for under £100...

Friend Derek`s East Links Golf Course is looking good all striped up now...

I posted a link to the Transition Bikes Klunker that costs around £400 on my facebook page. It got a couple of negative replies... -:(  and was compared to a £50 ASDA bike to being better... I dunno...
What is wrong with people?, its a cheap bike with BMX cranks and hubs to have fun on...

Guess its like when folk ask you why your riding a fat bike on the road (when your riding somewhere to ride it!)
"If i have to explain why then your never gonna get it..."

Here you go, fun on these bikes...   oh and don`t take it serious like someone did on facebook!

Home and a lovely calm evening out in the garden with the chiminea on...
And no visitors! ... quality `me time`...

Yeah i know its got no garden bloom... maybe cause i ain't planted any since the garden conversion!, only a fool would buy and plant up border stuff in the last months cold weather... forget about the date but look at the weather.
At work we have just done a Spring feed and sprayed for weeds, its been that cold, only the last week have things really kicked off.  Anyway weeds were sprayed last night the borders will be planted a sea of colour in a couple of weeks...

Here's some red heat...

The view of evening light from my wicker rocking chair that was washed up at Gullane and humped home...

My resident blackbird approved of the lovely evening and erupted into song...

Amazing late evening light...
