Again today was overcast with flat light not ideal for taking pics when i went down to John Muir Park for a couple of hours cycling. I took the old Pugsley after which i did some spannering on this morning;
New BB bearings, re copper greased the Avid BB7 brake callipers, also swapped out to big wide bars, fitted the Nates and FatBOB trailer nuts, this bikes use is mostly Fatbike Commuter. Mud and gloop of the local Binning Woods, and pull the FatBOB Trailer for hauling firewood off the coast,
This bike is a keeper being Scotland's first fatbike, and is mostly used by Francis now, She being taller than me it is ideal having a non drop top tube, 90mm stem and a long seat post, with flat pedals, and a quick release seat clamp fitted to quickly adjust... If your 6 foot tall you don't need a Large Pugsley as with a 90mm stem there is a lot of room on the medium bike,
John Muir Park is my preferred choice of place to go cycle on the coast on a Sunday afternoon, across at Tyninghame is real busy with families by the afternoon while on the other side of the river Tyne Estuary at JMP it can be near deserted once a few hundred yards away from the car park and i can ride here for over an hour without meeting anyone,
I rode out to Moss house Point and followed the Tyne across the mud flats into Hedderwick sands,
Mowgli was straight into the river!...
This bikes set up is ideal for riding across here at low tide...

A walker has left more of a footprint than the fatbike, even when fitted with chunky Nate tyres...
Another shoe!, this one more modern!,,,
Across Hedderwick sands and along the ace sandy single track trails through the pine woods...
Out around Sandy Hirst point and some other fatbike tracks...
Down to the Bridge to nowhere...
And back to the car park through the lagoons...
Back home and not just the bike to hose down!...
