Early morning beachride...
Early Autumn, the temps are dropping now with single digit nights, the trees are starting to turn and drop their leaves, there is a different smell down in the woods now, a tinge of dampness and rotten vegetation...
On the coast early and a different light on the coast to my usual late afternon rides...
A short ride today as off out later this afternoon so a quick ride, through the woods then onto the coast...
Nice light on the water...
Along the beach then inland and back to the van, Fat fix done and home...
Here is some film, Song is `Sick Times` by Boards of Canada

Hi, just discovered your blog via an old thread on retrobike forums about Muddy Fox bikes.
ReplyDeleteI’ve recently returned to cycling with an ebike MTB for commuting to work, and a couple of old MTBs for fun, both Specialized and from the late 90s, an FSR and a Rockhopper.
The wheels and tyres on your bike are amazing, like a motorbike! I’m assuming the frame is extra wide to accommodate them and it’s not a standard frame? Is it slow to ride with the extra weight and friction? I’ve just not seen anything like this, probably the widest tyres I’ve experienced are something like 2.2”!
Looks like you have some amazing scenery around your way. I’m also a fan of getting out in the countryside to photograph, and recently have been using the bikes to do this more.
I’m looking forward to delving into your archives.
Cheers,
Dan
