Tailwind assisted with the strenghtening southerly - not often we get a wind from the south, we were soon across the Reserve to the dunes and up and along a favourite trail that has only become easily rideable in the last couple of years as visitors walk the trail...
The eastern end of the dunes towards Gullane Point are scorched bare from recent fires and the burned charcoal is strong when you ride through here, looks like a war zone...
An ace sandy trail and devoid of anyone else this afternoon...
