Midweek Cycle; More green lanes...
More green lanes again today and i cycled up past Pencaitland from Longniddry,
This old Weigh Bridge is stamped `Henry Pooly & Son, dated 1939,
On through Boggs Holdings and Winton Estate and beyond...
One of many Mines marked around the area which once used the railways here...
This track was a bit overgrown but not to long to slog through, then onto a better track...
I was heading to Peaston Farm for some pics at the old row of cottages
Sadly they are being renovated as were very scenic, though this is not surprising as East Lothian continues to expand everywhere with houses...
Some 1980`s nostalgia lying in rubbish cleared out a house...
I rode a loop on tracks back to the old farm to return to Pencaitland....
Wee film to here...

From Pencaitland it was more trails through Winton Estate to join some of the old railway lines to Macmerry...
Crossing the A1 it was another old green road down towards Longniddry...
Big Sky day in the Shire...
A nice cycle,
More soon...
