Into August - Royal Enfield Classic 350 Update.. Rear pillion seat replacement baggage rack...

 

Just a quick post on a good update done to the Royal Enfield Classic 350 with rear pillion seat removed. Just fitted a luggage rack that bolts on the frame giving a strong rack ideal for strapping luggage etc...

These are not available yet in the UK so via the Facebook Royal Enfield new Classic 350 UK Owners page I followed a link to a seller in India who posts overseas, and the rack cost £99 delivered and arrived only 9 days after ordering!, 

The rack is nice made and plastic coated....

With the rear pillion seat. sun frame and hand grab handle removed the 200mm bolt was reused though it is too long and so I made use of some M10 nuts as spacers until a 170mm M8 blot ordered from eBay arrives...

The rear mounts slot into the top shock absorber bolts once you untighten them and with them re tightened that’s the rack on...

 

And it looks good aswell as being very functional...

Update; the day the blog post goes live a correct length 170mm bolt arrived in the post!( two bolts arrived as had to buy two)  lol
