Not been out much in the Jeep in September, to be fair the new Motorbike takes priority with the fuel consumption at its lowest it has been 89 MPG!, compared to 20 - 25 mpg of the Jeep!.
So with Unleaded fuel dropping a bit in price recently I filled the Jeep up and after a quick check of the usual Oil, coolant and tyre pressures - all fine, we had a fun day out across in Berwickshire at the Ellemford Show,
G has not been to this show since in her teens which is held on the farm next door to the farm she grew up at Abbey Saint Bathans, and she soon saw some faces of folk she had not seen for years...
We were ushered in to park in amongst the vintage farm machinery on display and we had a giggle when the Judges doing the tractors waked right by the Jeep ignoring it lol...
G said the show was a lot bigger years back but was glad it was still running. With home baking etc on sale we had a bite to eat and a look at the Industrial tables which included stick dressing display and a friend of my family who my dad did this hobby with was displaying some fantastic made sticks, his stick with the Trout on the handle won best in show and quite rightly it was beautifull...
We headed home late afternoon back over the Lammermuirs via the Whiteadder Reservoir and we were just warm enough and I was thinking this will probably be our last outing in the Jeep with the roof down as there was a nip in the air...
Next day I put up the hood on the Jeep, whilst not having filmed the day out in the Jeep I thought I would make a film of some of the cools things I love about the Jeep...
