2022... another year...

Apologies for the lack of fresh blog posts inline with YouTube films I publish... I admiringly have been a bit consumed with Youtube after the massive increase in views and new subscribers leaving likes and comments, 189 new subscribers in the last few weeks alone!,

For any one film I have made on the Royal Enfield there has been more views and esp comments that 6 months of blog posts on here...

I don't want to jack in the blog and will still post stuff but I am scaling back the time I spend on it as not worth it with the lack of feedback it gets - but being powered by Google its a good place to store photos and I will try put some more words to pictures and films even if I am posting less often now on here...

I guess social media is changing and younger generations are of a scrolling nature in general and short concentration span to spend too long on one place - you could say todays posts are yesterdays news by the next day if Instagram and other sites are to be compared to blogging...

But do not worry I am not stopping making beach riding films on Fatbikes as you will see on my Youtube and the hype for the new Royal Enfield 350`s will calm down soon once something else comes out similar!

So this years antics have been better captured by my partner G who prefers to make slideshow films of here cycling and out and about so for this end of year post this wee film she just made is ideal  of some of the fun we got up to in 2022

Which just leaves me to wish from us both a Happy New Year and all the best for 2023

Bruce and Glenda

  1. Hey there, always love reading your blog. I wouldn't worry too much about current social media trends. It's always more enjoyable to read something in-depth (in my opinion) and blogs like this give a nice break from the unnatural, quick paced scrolling. Hope all is well!
