Midweek Cycle with friends...
Out with G and friends Phil and Anne, enjoying their 1st visit north of the Border to Scotland this year now restrictions on travel are lifted with the mad bat flu...
July`s weather has not been great with a lot of cloudy days and today there was light rain showers, forecast is better for the coming weekend so fingers crossed, after lunch out the rain at the Lake we cycled a loop around local trails and it was great to catch up....
Toads Crossing here now...
Phil has a new Ebike, with his health after recovering from Cancer was struggling to ride like he used to be able to do, esp on multiple day rides, Ebikes have given his cycling a new lease of life and allows him to cycle and keep up with us ok, He often cycles it switched off and only uses the motor when he is tired so it is a great example of the benefits of electric assist bikes for someone who need a wee help sometimes...
I had a go and it is lovely to ride, being UK legal the motor cuts out at 16 mph, which is fast enough on shared trails here...
I live in East Lothian, S.E. Scotland.
I fill my time with my hobbies, interests and passions. Often cycling along the coast here. I ride steel bikes with big wheels, I like to enjoy all interests of the coast, Its scenery, wildlife, local history, with my other interests in art and music when out and about...
I was diagnosed with Relapsing remitting Multiple Sclerosis in August 2018, it`s early days but i plan to continue to live my life as i have and show that having a medical condition like MS does not mean you need to stop enjoying your life,
Please excuse the bad grammar, i am working on it!
