The starter handle arrived last week and the postman correctly guessed what it was!
With two fire extinguishers, Spare fan belt, oil and coolant, wheel jacks, tools inc spare points and condenser, a safe towing system The Jeep is ready to go, and hopefully prepared for a worst scenario!...
Here is a wee film hand starting the Jeep and down at a farmers field who gave us permission to drive round you can see how the bonnet catches work to cleverly hold the bonnet up in the wind, and also can fasten down the windscreen when folded down on the bonnet....
With the screen down I had a wee drive about...
Another short film...
I put the screen up again before heading up the hills and had another wee drive about, and a 3rd film...
It was colder once up the hills!...
Heading back into town and we went through the Drive-through!, must be the first Jeep to do that lol!
Wee film!...
With the camera shaking a bit too much off road with the vibration I will just use the frame up in the air for filming on roads in the future, I returned to having the roof frame folded back and locked in place with the wing bolts. I need to sort folding up the roof better while it is attached at the back of the Jeep and allowing the frame rails to sit totally flat where they will not rattle.
Love to get a pic of the Jeep parked next to the Big Gun here in town!...
More soon...
I can feel your enjoyment and enthusiasm.
