Isolation Cycle Pt 38; Sandy Hirst Point...
Across to Tyninghame today and lovely high pressure weather is forecast for a few days, being Sunday we headed out early before the masses descend on the coast, at 10am the car park was already full at Tyninghame with cars queueing... you can just tell watching for they have not been there before as they wander about, along with Edinburgh resident parking permits on their cars, obviously the Covid restrictions do not apply to them... you can tell I`m starting to get cheesed off about the public so I will shut up...
We went to check the WW2 Machine gun pill box and adjacent store we re discovered and folk have indeed been in for a look as was evident so glad folk have enjoyed checking them out...
We rode out across what is marked as `Heckies Hole` on the map - on the north side of the Tyne estuary to take advantage of new coverings of sand over an area that used to be muddy and slippy to film something -thats for the next blog post and film...
Wee film at the point, Song is `Farewell` by UNKLE,
