Willys Jeep; Lanoguard treatment...

I have been reading a lot of online reviews of this product that originated from the Marine environment and now has a Moto treatment spray and Grease and going on the reviews decided this is deft worth a punt and what I want to put on under my Jeep as winter looms...

But first off watch this YouTube film from the manufacturers...

So you can see how it is a non brainer to use,  needing no PPE to apply says a lot compared to Waxoil and other nasty stuff already on the market.  Eco friendly then, ok to spray on rubber seals and bushes, electrics, in fact is says it protects these items under a car on it's chassis.

With a repaired tub and repainted Chassis 2 years ago by the previous owner I did not need to use the Grease that came with the kit with no real bad rusted areas and after an initial blocked spray nozzle from (my fault) not shaking the liquid properly I was soon spraying away having stuck the back wheels up on rams to gain easier access. it took around 20 minutes to fully coat the underside and I gave it a good soaking  then after half an hour once all drips had stopped did it all again, and I still had 1/4 litre left in the bottle which is really impressive.

I plan to spray the remainder inside the frame of the Army Pugsley and going to try it on the outside of the frame where they alway get surface rust - around the seat stays where they join the seat tube and chain stays behind the bottom bracket, it will be interesting to see how it works over the coming winter out cycling on the coast...

Rolling the Jeep out after sitting 5 days and it has soaked in well leaving a nice clear covering and looks good...

Sunny day so roof and screen down for a day up the hills, not going to have many more days this year warm enough to use the Jeep like this - that's for another post...
