Cycle down a new trail to the coast...

There is now 2 way marked trails around my place of work, both lead down to the coast safely out of range of golf balls,  one on the western perimeter, and now one on the eastern perimeter. You don't get such signed maintained paths on many other coastal courses around here in the Shire, and Joe public - esp if a visitor often has no idea what and where it is safe to walk along the side of a course and what could be in range or not of  golf in play - remember access is about responsibility and the land owners uses whatever that may be...  anyhow on with cycling and we took the Surly Pugsley 2.0 bikes today to the beach and they proved ideal on the new trail that is still quite soft in places being built mostly on sandy soil loam...

First though a wee film on a section of the John Muir Way (JMW) we call it `Garlic Trail` though there is no scent of the plant in Autumn, this time of year with falling trees gives all users view through the woods of other users and we always slow down or pull in for folk on foot, though most of the time folk wave you by once they have a hold of their dog(s)...
