A walk around Whiteadder Reservoir...

 

We went a walk around the Whiteadder Reservoir as we have never seen the water level there so low with the lack rainfall...

Built and flooded in the late 1960s the Vally engulfed a school and farm...

Exposed is the remains of Millknowe farm and Kingside school...

The tarmac of the old road is in better condition than some roads in use today!

Getting colder now but a slight lift in temperature saw a chance for G do do some paddle boarding so I went on shore patrol as usual and we both had a fun time...
