Dawn Patrol on the Coast...
Up at 4.30am and down to North Berwick town for low tide at 5.30am...
Overcast with mist it is nice and cool this morning...
I love cycling through town at this time when it is deserted...
Only the call of seagulls....
Very 28 Days Later...
Hello!...
Hello!...
Parched Links...
Were in the Pugsley Matrix, but no zombies thankfully, humans in a delivery truck...
West onto the beach...
Beach camping...
One man and his dog...
Then Big Empty...
This beach at Yellowcraig will be packed with visitors by midday...
After the easy flat beaches some techie riding along to Gullane. It still amazes me what these bikes can be ridden easily over, and how much fun it still is...
Lovely light on the water....
Over the rocks at Marine Villa...
Still do not know who made the beach den at the old caves...
-:)
Onto the sand exposed at low tide and around to Freshwaterhaven...
I left a couple of messages on the sand at Freshwaterhaven for the TV plane flying around Muirfield during the day. Keep an eye out if your watching the Open Golf today! -:)
Funny, a deserted beach yet just over those dunes is the biggest most historic Golf Competition about to start, which will attract an estimated 10,000 people today...
Around the bake bean trail and a glimpse of the course...
Sand is real soft on the trail with the dry weather and loads of foot traffic...
Into Gullane Village...
And up Gullane Hill for the view...
Great to see the aerial views of our amazing county on TV over the last few days...
Home for 9am for breakfast...
Very cool bro!
ReplyDeleteA full day oot before breakfast! I'm impressed.
ReplyDeleteAgree that the area has been looking amazing in the aerial shots from the golf.
History in the making by the big guns, brought into our homes by The magic commentary of legend Peter Alliss, BBC does a good job of the Open every year
