Angus Cycling Festival; Fatbike Ride!
I met Dave B when he drove down to Gullane to buy some Jones handlebars i was selling, was impressed at the coast and returned along with Jamie to Forth Fat. He mentioned he was going to organise something for fatbikes back home and invited me up. I was the only rider from EL who made it and enjoyed the scenic 100 mile drive north over the Forth Bridge with the old Pugsley on the back into the heart of the highlands to Glamis on Sunday morning to attend the first highland Fatbike Gathering that was organised by Dave B and friends, Frank drove up from Ayrshire, and Ben from Edinburgh to meet Dave`s friends.
The Fatbike ride was part of the Angus Cycling Festival, a week of celebrating all things cycling related,
East Lothian; Why can our great wee county not organise something like this?, all types of cycling took place for all ages and abilities around Angus, and we have superb cycling for everyone on all types of bikes here.
Back to the Angus Fatbike day,
