Cycle around Yester and Gifford Woods...

Couple of hours cycling the Surly KramPug around Yester woods and the trails around the woods of Gifford Village today...

A path leads to somewhere magical and special...

Can you see it through the trees?...  The ruins of Yester Castle

Dated to 1267 The Goblin Castle here in Yester Woods near Gifford has an underground Hall known as the `Goblin Ha` with a stone stair case that leads down to a now sealed off dungeon and well where once captives from the Crusades were once held...

I made a wee film with the compact camera inside the Goblin Ha,

Back down through the woods and past some impressive Douglas Firs and two big Sequoia`s...

Along with ancient native Oak...
