Friday - and Wednesday too!, A present from Surly...
`Wednesday`s girl is full of woe`...
It`s Friday!, and also Wednesday!,
Pugsley`s sisters full name after all is `Wednesday Friday Addams`, - those not in the loop the Surly Pugsley - the first production Fatbike is named after the character `Pugsley` in the Addams Family, because he`s chubby, get it?
Been sent this frame set as a present from Surly to build up, ride and review, and have some fun times, how cool is that!!!
I cannot thank Pat aka Mr Surly UK, at Ison Distribution enough!,
The frame set also came with a pair of UK HALO Wheels, their new powder coated rims which should be ideal for the coast.
I have been building up the parts to get this rig rolling since i got the news it was on it`s way.
And i hope to have it rolling for Forth Fat in 2 weeks. It is going to be a 5" tyre Rock Crawler for the coast to replace the Surly Moonlander and i am really looking forward to riding this symmetrical through axle 4130 Cro mo frame set with modern geometry, talking of that it near matches my Krampus frame when you hold it up to it. This bike is going to be fun...
This frame set is in for a rough time on the salt water conditions where i will be riding it so it will deft be put through it`s paces. So need a bit of frame prep etc before building up...
In the meantime here is a wee film with Sov from Surly Bikes telling you about the Wednesday...
More soon...
Woohoo....have fun with it.
