North Berwick Fat Bike Group Ride
I had a wee spin on Sanny`s Salsa Beargrease, at around 29 lbs in weight this bike has rocket acceleration, you could make regular xc mountain bikes look very silly on this bike...
Great to see old friend Gary Buckham out with us today too...
He has the fat bug!...
10 of us dropped down to 5 as the others headed back to NB with time restrictions etc... so we rode on westwards...

Along to Freshwaterhaven then we rode loads of trails from the coast. up and along to the `Bake Bean trail` around Muirfield Golf Course then from Gullane along to Archiefield and `The Garlic Trail` to Yellowcraig where we dropped back down onto the beach to return to North Berwick...
Stopping at the harbour ...
Then parked up at Law cycles and time for a cafe and food...
Still cannot get over the size of the Surly 4.7" `Bud and Lou` tyres for the Moonlander!...
10mm wider than the original 4.7" Larry on the right of the pic...
What a fun day won the coast with great company...
I shot some film with the Canon Compact between taking pics, its not great footage but if its fat biking then its worth watching -:)
