I like cycling with friends but would rather cycle with a dog!, a dog is not oppiniated about you or your pace (unless tired!) your bike, or your opinions on bike stuff... he just wants to run alongside with you and enjoy himself... i miss cycling with a great dog.. he was the perfect trail friend :D
