Return to John Muir Park...

Arranged to meet friend Chris at John Muir Park after work for a beachride and catch up,
I was there an hour before Chris so did some filming while waiting,
Good to get out on the coast on the Surly Wednesday again, With a recent change of tyres and ridged fork back on and a few other wee things, be an update on the bike soon...

Sand was real soft out at Sandy Hirst Point...

Back at the car park and Chris turned up and it was good to catch up, a ride through the woodland trails then a stop off at bullet hill and a rummage in the sand for some souvenirs...

Dawn Harvest Cycle...

Weekend off, time to recharge and relax, and get in some harvest cycling, up before sunrise at 6am i was out early while the big monsters slept having worked late into Friday evening...

The beast sleeps...

Harvested fields linked across to the coast where i took to tracks and trails as fields here not yet cut...

Here is why your better with an Alfine type internal gear hub for harvested field cycling as the mech got wrapped with straw and chaff.  But it was good to get out on the new Surly Pugsley...

Across to Whitekirk and home through the woods...

Home for 8.30am before most folk are up and about...
