A cycle out to Holy Island...

Down to Spital at Berwick Upon Tweed with friend Chris for a cycle out to Holy Island, the forecast was crazy strenght winds but the tides were right and it was dry so we went for it!

Sands were dancing as we flew down the beach with the tailwind...

We were soon over the tidal causeway and took the road onto the island...

  1. I cycled there from Seahouses when I did the Coast and Castles route. We started from Whitley Bay up to North Berwick and back to W Bay via Route 1 to Melrose. A great ride and beautiful scenery.
