Royal Enfield Open face Bobber helmet!
I wanted one of those green Royal Enfield Openface helmets with brown leather trim to go with my bike after I painted my bike but sadly they were all sold out, I had bought a cheap £43 Spada Open face first off to see if I would like wearing an open face and it was ok, so returned to hunting through UK Royal Enfield dealers shops to see if any had them that were not advertising them...
The a black size large popped up for sale on ebay, advert said hardly used, I put in a £20 starter bid and no-one else bid and I won it!, when it arrived though It was just a bit too tight and I concluded it was infact not a genuine RE helmet but it was still a good helmet, I gave it to friend Edd who will use it in his Hill trial MG car, and the search was back on...
I started looking for one in XL size and lo and behold I found one! it arrived a few days later and check it out!
Once I tried it on I realised that the back helmet was deft not a genuine helmet as this was a 62cm and I would say a cm too big for me but its ok it stays put when worn,
The bubble visor is hilarious! like being in a fish bowl!, I need to source a good quality straight visor with same 3 stud fitting that also will flip up
I also bought 2 pairs of HOOD motorcycle jeans, cannot believe how comfortable these are, one pair are hipster tight legs and the other pair loose fit...
Anyways here's a wee film out around town trying out the Open face that will just get worn when local and not using the media mod set up...
I live in East Lothian, S.E. Scotland.
I fill my time with my hobbies, interests and passions. Often cycling along the coast here. I ride steel bikes with big wheels, I like to enjoy all interests of the coast, Its scenery, wildlife, local history, with my other interests in art and music when out and about...
I was diagnosed with Relapsing remitting Multiple Sclerosis in August 2018, it`s early days but i plan to continue to live my life as i have and show that having a medical condition like MS does not mean you need to stop enjoying your life,
Please excuse the bad grammar, i am working on it!
