back from the west coast...
and an amazing 5 days spent with my sister and family and friends and also 2 days alone biking the very remote Kyntyre Way
aswell as time exploring on west coast beaches,ruin castles,standing stones...and experienced the full brunt of west coast weather of rain...wind...and eh sideways rain...and between all that midges the size of sparrows on a remote and amazing penulsia and some great local hospitality...
and some serious cider samping :)

That is awesome man! Were you able to bike the entire Kintyre Way?
ReplyDeletestout: yes but only to campbell town as the last (new) is a hike a bike over heather then tarmac roads downs to the coast...did the 65 miles to Campbelltown in 2 days but should have been 3 days!...still shattered!

ReplyDeleteLooks like Dunadd and Carnassarie Castle. Couple of crackers from the Kilmartin valley. Did you stop and look at the amazing grave slabs in the kirk yard?
ReplyDeletealistair; right guess!, i was there at the kirk yard years ago (pre digital camera) but it was a quick couple of hours we had in an afternoon so missed it aswell as kilberry..just so much around here to look at...
