Springtime...


Clocks went forward an hour on Saturday night,so will be light now till around 8pm on a clear evening then later till end of June when nearly light all evening on a clear moonlight night,
Saturday i went down to John Muir Country Park with Jason on the Pugsleys to meet with Davie for a beach ride, yes that's right 3 pugs!

And here is the 1st picture of 3 Surly Pugsley fatbikes in Scotland!...

Was telling the boys about there being a WW2 firing range in the bay here and to keep there eyes peeled when i spied this...303 rifle shell...


Sand was real soft and hard going as still wet out at Spikey Island Point...


Belhaven bay...formation Pugsleys!, The big wing will be up soon...






Quite a few surfers out...




Rock hopping at the east end of the bay...

Across the exposed rocks below the cliffs toward Dunbar, slippy in places you had to be carefull...






Tri-Fat Flick...


Davies neoprene shoes were ideal for the slippy rocks...there called Vibrate Five Fingers/Flow model...


The restored WW2 25 pounder Howitzer near the swimming pool...




A large crowd had gathered at the Harbour to see the launch of a new rowing Skiff,getting a help by the local Inshore Lifeboat crew, the skiff will compete against boats from other Harbours in East Lothian, you can read about the boat here on the ; Dunbar Coastal Rowing Club



Dunbar Harbour is larger than North Berwick and just a scenic...





Kittiwakes are nesting at the Harbour entrance cliffs and on the old Castle Ruin`s...





Inshore Lifeboat...


In the High Street is the old Town Hall,undergoing restoration,
It`s the oldest wedding register house in Scotland...



In front is a Statue to John Muir the world famous Conservationist who was born in the the town and spent his childhood here before his family moved to America...




"The bridge to Nowhere` at Belhaven Bay...though it does go somewhere at low tide...over the Biel Burn...


Met my friend Andrew walking his 6 month old German Short Haired Pointer `Bonnie`, he`s a wee beauty!, and will be a great trail hound...
Andrew you need a pugsley -:)




Top day out and great seeing 3 pugsleys together! -:)

Sunday...
Went a xc ride with friend Paul who borrowed my Super V as his bike`s forks are getting serviced, we rode trails out to Seacliff and Tantallon Castle then around above the coast to Tyningham Estate and some trails back to mine...

  4. There is another pugs (gary)and also a 907 fatbike now in Einburgh so there will no doubt be a group beachride soon!, great to share the fun of riding these bikes
