Following some emails from Fraser Ranson here in the UK whose brother owns the company Showers pass who design and manufacture cycle out ware in Portland Oregon in the US i received a parcel yesterday...

Fraser is setting up distribution of Shower pass products here in the UK, a Fatbike fan, he kindly has sent me a `Rouge Hoodie` to test and review...
I love hoodies and have several cotton hoodies, i have 2 soft shell hoodies but they are not cycling cut,
Showers pass clothing is cut for cycling and also looks fine to wear off the bike too.
I have always been a fan of general purpose clothing that can be used for all types of out door activities and worn to work to under work clothes in winter... this Jacket has a tail, cut sleeves that don`t flap in the wind, food pocket on lower back, i pod hole in pocked, and neat cuffs with optional thumb loop holes.
Riding to work today at 5.30am it was cold but the jacket is very comfortable, warm and proved breathable when i went for an hours ride after work on the SURLY Karate Monkey 29er...
I will be wearing this jacket a lot now and it should be better than my Gore Tex paclite which can get a bit too warm and then you get a cold chill...
Fraser is talking about doing a discount on this Jacket and other items for members of the UK Fatbike forum, i will keep you updated! ...
This is the 4th week of cold weather on the coast, still that biting cold Easterly wind that makes temperatures struggle to get above 5Celcius with the windchill...
Sunrise now 6.22am and out over the North Sea now, real cold but clearing skies and some sunshine to come again...
After a cold clear day i did an hour loop from Whitekirk on the 29er, here is a few `now and then` pics from around the loop...
