Cycling does not need to be all about killing yourself, strava stats and radness airtime, friendship is way more important, and after this weeks weather today's ride was rightly named by Craig as `East Coast Enigma`,
In Craig's words; `Terrible weather all week, but come Saturday it`s braw on the East Coast as usual. Not the longest, or quickest ride, but definitely one of the best laughs with myself, Mark and Stuart,
With our regular stuntman Brian away getting his spray tan topped up, it was left to myself to provide the mechanical failures and Mark the acrobatics`
First time i have seen an inner tube valve snapped in half, seaweed try to rip off a rear mech, and Mark had a big over the bars, but no harm done to anyone...
I only took a few pics today. The Pug at home ready for winter on the coast with frame bag and flat pedals fitted...
Another in Gullane of a cool old truck...
Sea Buckthorn berries are ripening...
Why we call this track `Bake Bean Trail`...
Riding friends today; Stuart and Craig...
And Mark...
Craig took loads of pics so here are a selection of them, not in order of the ride....
Along with Craig's pics to share Mark was filming with his Sony sports camera, We also did some filming with Marks camera so he could get in on his film too, here is his ace film of a fun day on the coast;
More soon...
