Chris was looking for a trailer to pull a huge bit of drift wood h found near Yellowcraig up off the beach to use a s a seat for his garden- International Rescue to the err rescue!, so met Chris on Sunday afternoon and with the Fat BOB trailer, and after a short ride then some pushing and heaving i managed to cycle this massive weight of wood back to the car park, crazy flexing of the frame as i tried to keep moving but we did it and hauled what deft is the heaviest load yet with the trailer!....
With the wood in Chris`s car and the trailer in my car we headed back down the coast and road west to Gullane under blue skies and warming temperatures first jelly fish i have seen this year washed up, we would see several others as we rode low on the exposed low tide sands...
We stopped up at Gullane car park and sat chilling in the sun for a while before i led Chris along and down the `Bake Bean trail` back to the coast...
We met Ian out on his ICT with son in tow and had a quick blether before heading of on different trails..
Back on the coast and the light on the water was amazing...
Again across `Scorpion trail` and another stop on the big rock at Marine Villa...
Nice ride and a coffee tab earned at Steampunk for helping out haul the wood off the coast, thanks Chris!
More soon...
