1st North Sea east coast winter storm of winter; Pt 1 of 4

The first of the big North Sea swells of this winter pushed in on the east coast here last week bringing tumbling surf and dramatic scenes as huge waves broke on the harbours and rocks along our coast...
Friday and work done i headed down to Tyninghame with my sister`s partner Ian for a coast run/cycle and the power of the sea was as always when these storms arrive breath taking and leaves you in awe at the power of the sea....

Wild!

Home and later the arrival of loads of unique Fatbike parts and custom Fatbikes means one thing; yep friend Mike was here for the weekend!!!,
Check these out!, this finish is called Hydro coating...

Not many of these in the UK, a Borealis Carbon Fibre fatbike, 26 lbs in weight...

`If Surly made steel full suspension Fatbikes`...
Would be nice but in fact it`s not as stickered, but a UK Cotic Rocket steel suspension MTB with 26" x 50mm Rabbit Hole Surly Instigator wheels and 3" Surly Dirt Wizard tyres,
Oh also it has an `Avalanche Cartridge` Fox Vanilla fork and a Titanium spring Cane Creek Double barrel (DB) rear shock... those who are in the know will know all this is very very bling...

Unfortunately for Mike i seemed to be down to one pint glass after cracking two lately so unfazed he found a pint measuring jug and happily drunk his Weston's Cider from that  lol...

A good start to a fun weekend then... more in the next post...
