Midweek cycling, Autumn on it`s way, and some 29+ wheel cycling sandy singletrack...

Autumn weather is here, cooler in the mornings and leaves dropping from the trees, the  last fields have been harvested now and many are sown with next years crop...

After an off road detour commute it was back out on 29+ wheels on the new Pugsley to meet friends Markus and Christian on an evening commuter train at North Berwick and between the suits of rather tired looking people they emerged through the crowd both grinning as only you can when your going cycling on the coast!...

I led them along the sandy singletrack from North Berwick to Yellowcraig, still overgrown in places but eventually we rode through Archerfield and via the Coastguard track emerged at Gullane and rode on through the Reserve and the John Muir Way to Gosford Bay. We dropped onto the beach to avoid  shining out lights head on to cars on the coast road and having negotiated the rocks in the dark emerged at the coastal car parks.  The guys rode back to Edinburgh from Longniddry while i head home via mum`s for a cup of tea and biscuits...

Gullane Savanna...

As usual none of the pics turned out i took once dark!, and riding in front is not ideal for trying to film!, but i did manage to shoot a little bit film here and there.  A short 2 minute film with `Me and my Desire` by 999 (edited shorter)

Markus was riding ahead and shooting film on his i phone which impresses me with it`s editing quality and image stabilsation.  all shot and edited and published on a mobile phone...

More soon...
