Catch up, and another Saturday on the coast cycling with friends...

Autumn...
Equal days of daylight and darkness, days of low sunshine and long shadows and golden sunshine through decaying woodland...

Woods at this time of year are a magical place, full of folklore and mystic stories of Fairies and alike...
:D

Houses of the little people....

All part of the job description to look after this place...

What is real is the flat bottoms of the leaf canopy in the woods have deft been done by Roe Deer grazing that help children explore the Fairy trail... :)

Been busy at work last week, maintenance jobs and starting to get some ideas moving and getting creative.
In the woods last week i found buried in Ivy and undergrowth this old agricultural Potato drilling plough implement which i plan to transform into a garden bench for the Walled Garden... think outdoor Steampunk... more of this sort of thing to come!...

Cycling about the estate makes up for lack of commutting on the busy roads here until lighter, and safer mornings to cycle return...

Weekend!;
Friday and home from work and the old Pugsley is ready to roll for the weekend....

Saturday dawns and the Barometer does not lie for the forecast of the day...

East beach and a stunning sunrise...

Where to ride when midday high tides?, follow us and plenty of riding near the coast, miles and miles of trails.
Friends assembled and we cycled west through woods and dunes all the way to Gosford...

Aberlady Bay bridge and we met Mary and Peter out running...

Some film shot with the Go Pro between NB and Aberlady, with sunset at Drem Airfield...
Song is `Curiosity kills`  by Janes Addiction...

East Coast Fatbikes; Nov 12th 2016 from coastkid71 on Vimeo.

From Aberlady we stopped at Gosford Bothy Cafe for food then rode back to NB inland on trails passing Bickerton`s Tomb...

The sun was setting as we rode past Fenton Tower and joined the John Muir Way to North Berwick...

The sun set as we rode back to NB with the lights on, another great day cycling here on the coast and trails with friends. Home and more of natures TV...

Here are some ace pics by friend Craig...

More soon...
