Saturday Cycle; John Muir Park...

 All pics by friend Craig...

Saturday and a cycle to John Muir Park with friend Craig.  Always enjoy riding here as quieter then the rest of the coastal areas with car parks, also if like today a morning high tide there is still plenty of sand to ride, from the sandy single track woodland trails, to the rolling paths along the point and around the high tide line.

Plenty of remains of WW2 coastal artifacts if that interests you also, like here at Bullet hill...

Once a firing range with a sandy bank full of .303 bullet heads,  just a minute raking a few inches around a dug out rabbit hole and a hand full of bullet heads...

Mmm... firewood!...

WW2 Half Track? or Matilda Mk2 tank?, several people i know say it was one or the other, i know whatever it was got the hell blown out it by live fire practise. 3" thick Metal plates nearby have armoured piercing holes right through them...

After a dull overcast morning the afternoon brightened up with some nice light...

Around the point and down to The Bridge to Nowhere... only a hand full of people on the coast here...

Home along the river tyne, little wind and peace full and wildlife all around...

Fishing...

Another fun half day ride on the coast, home for a cuppa and get the stove on!...

While Craig took pictures today i shot some film with the Hero 4 Session camera on the mono pod, gets some fun angles while riding and i`m enjoying using imovie to edit, it`s so fast to import, easy to edit and fast to publish, the way to go for sure...
Short film,
Song is `Test Transmission` by Kasabian...
