Midweek trailride; Tyninghame woods cycle...

After a dry hot weekend some unexpected light rain and mist on Monday morning did not do much for the dry ground but maybe keep the dust down!,  but there is still some nice colours in the fields and woods,
Lush green and bright flowers wherever you cycle off road...

Today i was down at Tyninghame after work, the woods were deserted, probably everyone thought it was still raining and mist here as it had been until mid afternoon...

Old Scots pine trees look amazing when they are dry and sand blasted by the onshore salt air winds...

Those old Pines may be dead but new growth is all around...

Never seen another gate with a hinge  mechanism like this in the woods here at Tyninghame,
There used to be a blacksmiths in Tyninghame village and the gate would probably have been made there...

Old Dunlop 4" tyre,  same width as my Surly Fatbike!...

Lovely damp smell and lush green colour here in the woods and cooler than the muggy weather of earlier today...

The old Estate walls run right through the woods, lovely stonework...

Ace light, time to head home as been a busy day...

Some film,
Song is `The 5th Exotic` by Quantic...
