Midweek Cycle; Gullane dunes


Back out cycling again with M and Jake dog, an overcast evening, but dry though a colder easterly onshore breeze.
oh here`s her new built bike!, we wet down to Gullane dunes....





Down around `Jamies Neuk` - that`s the ruin cottage at Freshwaterhaven all the sea buckthorn has been cleared, i went for a walk to see what was lying around pulled up by the excavators...

Jake as usual found a stick...


And this also dating to WW2 a used smoke grenade, the beach here was used for training and these were used here along with live fire rounds...



Also revealed this ruin of what looks like a barn as no windows, sheep would have been grazed here many years ago so maybe related to farming...





overcast evening but still a nice light on the water
