Gear Review; Keela Scuffer Trousers

I have bought 3 pairs of these multi purpose outdoor trousers in the last 6 years since i started riding fatbikes and blogging about outdoors here on the coast...

Made by the Scottish company who also supply clothing for the British armed forces, Emergency services and Scottish Mountain Rescue, their clothing has proved to be for myself robust and multi purpose for the outdoors-be it at work, walking or cycling off road.
The first 2  pairs of 36" waust trousers i bought are still ok and are still being used- but not by myself! as i gave them away as i have lost weight and now i am a 34" waist.

Click on the link here for the tech details and sizing available for the Scuffer Trouser
As in the tech they come in two leg lenght options; regular and long,  i have tried both lenghts and my newest pair are the long leg option. I am a 32" inside leg and the longer option i find better for cycling and esp good at getting a good seal around the top of outdoor boots...

The stretch shower proof  DWR coated material is very comfortable and not too warm even on the average Scottish summer day. There is thigh zip vents with a mesh fly screen if needed. the ankle Velcro adjust tabs have enough Velcro to remain tight and not slip-unlike another make of cycling specific trouser i have..

The zip pockets keep the sand out here on the coast and there is an internal money;key pocket.

The belt works fine without digging in.  The belt has a neat inside zipper pocket ideal for a rolled up £10 so you will always have money for that cafe visit when you out and about!

I like these a i can cycle to work in them, wear them at work if i want to,  go off road cycling in them, and they are still decent enough to sit in a pub or restaurant without signalling you out as a cyclist or walker etc...
A low key multi purpose clothing item i think is spot on...

Anything else?...
Keela should make a 3/4 shorts version of these as with there strenght would sell well for leisure cyclists and serous off road cyclist alike. be ideal for shorts and sandals weather too
