Getting colder this week and more snow is forecasted. If it stays as cold with no thawing we should be in for a decent covering if the predicted incoming snow forecasted for the UK east coast is correct. Were still cycling daily and switching from the massive Moonlander wheels - 4.8" tyres on 100mm rims to our 4" tyres on 65mm or 80mm rims has made it better in the present conditions. Only when the snow gets real dry and drifts will the bigger 5" tyres come into their own...
We were back as usual for an hour or so cycle around John Muir Country Park, quiet mid week with folk working from home and the early dog walkers having been out, 10am till midday is ideal time to get out and staying away from people is easier....
