Another day in the local Lammermuir Hills and another loop on gravel tracks, and today it was around the Whiteadder reservoir, some of these tracks are quite rough with big stones and sharp edges so don't think it looks real smooth when you watch the film as the Go Pro HERO 10 Image stablistaion does an amazing job of smoothing out the film, watch G`s bike juddering on the stones on some of the descents, 29+ wheels are our order of the day for riding up here...
Yeah I know... you should have a gravel bike blah blah blah...
Well, I wonder if the owners of them will say the same in 10 years when there suffering from knackered hand and wrist joints and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome from straining neck joints riding on drop bars?...
I still cannot honestly see how such a bike must be a delight to ride down or up such climbs, but if that floats your boat and you enjoy that then carry on!...
This loop today took in approx 13 miles with some good steep ascending and long descents requiring you keeping an eye ahead while trying to not get too distracted by the distant amazing views from the roof of the Lammermuir Hills...
Another ace day, clear blue skies while down on the coast was enveloped in sea haar and cooler temperatures...
Wee film again, well not that wee!, songs are by Christ. and Jakatta
More soon...
