Saturday Beachride...
I let Mike ride my pug at the weekend to kickstart him again to save/scrounge/steal/beg or borrow the money to get my old pug frame built, we headed down to Peffersands, my local beach at Tyninghame, i rode the 29er...
Mike wanted to do a film, so i took my Go pro along and did some film of him on the pugsley then he took the SD card away to add to his film of the ride,
along to St Baldreds Cradle...
Turns out (surprise surprise) there is a Geocache here, and Mike went and found it,
i don`t know much about Geocaching but Mike says this is a geocache coin which he will now put at another location of another cache...
Sounds fun and if it gets folk outdoors and about then it cant be a bad thing, how about a series of cache`s in WW2 Coastal Defence artifacts?...
We rode from the Secret trail following someone Else's tyre tracks?, a square block mud tyre by the look of it (bike geek tyre ID mode setting in...) then through woodland paths and along to the dunes at Peffersands, It was worth the leg burn and pushing through the soft sand up past the high tideline to get Mike down those dunes,
Mikes grin after he rolled down his first dune was priceless...
"Why are there not more folk doing this?" he asked, shoo sh... -:)
Here are some ace pics Mike took with his Nikon D80, you can read his story of the ride over on his blog; Mikeworld...
And a great film Mike made, nice editing...
