A Mid week film...

No cycling for me this week, resting the legs. Just the commute 3 days a week again  as i usually do once were onto working winter hours. Fat biking will resume on Saturday, with a wee group ride from North Berwick for ice cream at Gullane, then return for a poke of chips -:)

Anyways, There has been a pair of Whale bones on the summit of North Berwick Law since 1709...

Several pairs have been put up there since, here is the last pair of real jaw bones back in 2006 before they were removed ...

The latest set are now artificial and made of fibreglass, installed by helicopter, donated by an unknown, but very kind person...

Not a bad thing they are fibreglass. I for one am happy that our country stopped hunting these amazing mammals, sadly some countries still hunt Whales...

It must be amazing to see them in the ocean. Watching on TV you do not really get the real life size of whales. Imagine swimming along side them then?, that would be amazing, like a dream...
Some words too with Alan Watts...

Here is a lovely made film on youtube.
